WHO IS SEAN THE ARCHITECT?

Hi. I’m Sean the architect!

I have 25 years’ experience in the retail, commercial and hospitality industry. I was a partner at a prominent retail architectural practice for over 20 years, gaining immense experience in the retail sphere. I won numerous retail awards for the various projects that I worked on; namely Middelburg Mall, Balito Junction, Merino Mall, Montecasino Teatro, Riverside Shopping Centre, Ferndale on Republic and The Glen Foodhall.

I recently relocated to the Western Cape with my family in search of a different lifestyle. I left my position as partner to re[create] a new lifestyle and way of working. My passions for design, creativity and coffee sent me on a journey to discover a very different way of working. I realised post Covid19 that I could work remotely and decided to bring my two passions together. I have created an architectural studio space within my new coffee shop! It has always been a dream to own my own coffee shop and I found the perfect franchise to realise this dream - Shift Espresso Bar in Paardevlei, Somerset West, Western Cape.

SEAN|PEARCE|ARCHITECT + CREATIVE is a design hub providing architectural design services, interior design, retail consultancy, brand and creative content marketing.

Please pop into my coffee shop and come say [how]zit!
